We are part of a National network of SETPOINT's throughout the UK. We are here to act as a link between education and industry. We aim to provide information and support activities which enhance and enrich the STEM curriculum in order to encourage young people to pursue STEM subjects and help them discover what careers in the STEM fields are like. We are responsible for schools within the Knowsley, Liverpool, Halton, St Helens, Wirral & Sefton LEA's. For information in the Cheshire and Warrington LEA's please click on the link in the left hand menu.

Teachers, win a free personal Laptop by completing the online STEM survey below!
The Northwest STEM Support Project has been established to add coherence and co-ordination to the wide range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum enrichment and enhancement (e&e) initiatives across the Northwest, and to ultimately make these initiatives more accessible to all schools and colleges in the NW.
The call for a regional STEM Support Project was the direct result of national and regional strategies which recognised a)the importance of e&e in motivating young peoples’ interest and aspirations in the STEM subjects, and b)many issues associated with co-ordination and coherence of the plethora of initiatives that exist in the region.
To enable the STEM Support Project to work towards co-ordination and coherence of e&e initiatives in the region we would like to gather accurate information about the initiatives and activities that you have interacted with, and furthermore, to understand the factors that influence you in working with e&e providers. We are primarily working with your local SETPOINT as they are a focal point for these activities in your local area.
We would be extremely grateful if you could help us by completing an on-line survey which will only take a few minutes. Completion of the survey will automatically enter you into a prize draw for a personal laptop worth up to £500.
